First False Flag of 2012? - Mt. Rainier shooting

E-mail Print PDF

Body found; likely man sought in killing of Rainier ranger

So let's count the ways this is good the .gov:

  1. Iraq war veteran - FBI documents always point to the war vet as a possible shooter/terrorist
  2. Guns in park - after a defeat of the blanket federal guns-in-parks ban, this shooting will likely lead to the discussion that the ban would have stopped this
  3. High capacity magazines - the widely circulating photo of the suspected shooter has him holding a Mac-10 looking pistol with a full capacity magazine, although this has not stated as the weapon used it will likely boost discussion about magazine bans
  4. Destructive Devices - the widely circulating photo of the suspected shooter has him holding a Saiga-12 shotgun with a magazine, although this has not stated as the weapon used it will likely boost discussion about magazine bans and classification of the Saiga-12 as a destructive device
  5. White with tattoos - will likely boost discussion of white power/hate groups/its-all-the-rights fault discussion

Looking at these typical news talk points:

  1. Instead of discussing how war destroys people and the military FAILS at "taking care of their own", veterans and "oath keepers" will continue to be singled out and labeled as terrorists
  2. Does any rational person really think that a law against guns in parks would have kept this person from killing a ranger? Murder is illegal, and that didn't stop this.
  3. One person was killed, it doesn't take more than 1 round to accomplish that
  4. The shotgun shown in the scare-you photo is no different functionally from a semi-automatic tube fed hunting shotgun owned by thousands of hunters. It just looks like it should be banned
  5. No link has been made to any hate group (yet). But no one will talk about the military allowing and seeking psychopathic racists and gang members to join their rank

Quote of the Day

So Indian policy has become institutionalized and the result has been that American people have become more dependent on government and that the American people have become more dependent on corporations.
